When I was a kid, and an avid watcher of “The Incredible Hulk” series, Henry Polic II guest-starred in a haunting episode that stayed with me for a long time. Fast forward thirty years later, Henry crossed my path but not in a haunting way. He directed me in “The Nerd” where he taught me how to not play the funny, and to trust the text when it came to humor and beats. “Fast is funny, Scotty,” he would remind me. But the most valuable lesson Henry taught me was how to be a caring and giving human being, on and off stage. Everyone who Henry interacted with has the same sentiments. He was unforgettable, charismatic, and an outstanding gentleman. I am proud to call him a dear friend, a mentor, and one helluva an actor.
