First Full Moon of 2015 is upon us. Its in the water sign of Cancer. The moon is also the ruler of Cancer so Im guessing this is going to be an emotional one for many reasons. This is a perfect time to make your healing crystal and flower infused waters tonight. Super easy...use glass or some use a copper vessel for this. Place rainwater or clean water(not city tap water with chemicals) into a glass jar, bowl, whatever works for you. Then add your crystals of choice. This will depend on what youre trying to manifest and will use the holy water for later.(Grab your crystal books.) Then if youd like, cut fresh flower blossoms and herbs to add. Sometimes this is tricky depending where you live this time of year. Even though its in the 30s here, my Sage & Thyme & Rosemary are growing nicely. I also have many violas & pansies & lovely, deep, dark, purple lobelias blooming in a pot. Just make sure the flowers & herbs are not sprayed with anything poisonous. Thats not the energy you want to bring into your holy water right? After youve taken the time to think about what you wish to blend in your water, add them to your water. Some like to add flower & gem essence that are in a bottle & made already. That is fine too. Trust yourself. Then take time to sit with the water & give thanks, pray, meditate, send reiki healings, set an intention, whatever calls to your soul. There is no right or wrong. Next you can place a lid, thin cloth, or nothing over it. Ive taken, read & taught many bath/water classes over the years. Everyone has a different opinion on whether you could cover it or leave open to the moon light and then strain out any unwanted guest you might find the next morning. Again, trust yourself & do what feels best. Then the next morning you can strain the flowers, herbs, crystals out & bottle your water. Or you can leave it out all day and have both full moon & sun water. Remembering again, what it is you wish to use this holy water for? What is your intention? The moon is soft, feminine energy and the sun is masculine, bright energy. Do you want a balance of both? Or do you want one or the other? Now you have just made your very own Magickal Moon Water :) Enjoy the Journey.
