First God is sovereign, but not alone. He shared sovereignty with men and women when He created us in His image. Thereby He limited Himself. He is not almighty when he limits His freedom to allow us freedom. Second His purpose was to share His pleasure with others but not His glory. He wishes us to be like Him, experience what He experiences, at least to the measure of what we are, finite creatures. We are sent to save souls and heal the sick and to feel we have some responsibility for it, and therefore to derive some joy from our efforts. What an honor and privilege. God bless you.
