First, He was my teacher, principal and a friend. Later, when I entered the games of politics, He became my colleague, adviser and mentor. He was a man of of his word. I learned many things from him about public service, policy making, ordinancies, resolutions and to name a few.He always have a brilliant ideas and political will. Wed been together as members of Sanggunian Bayan for more than a decade in LGU New Corella. During those times, the session hall would become a very lively and intense discussions because of his personal views on certain issues. I cant help but to feel at this moment such a loss for us people of New Corella. I think not a single one would not knew him who resides in this town, or even who graduated in their high school education before the TDM sisiters took over the Maryknoll High School of New Corella sometime in 2004. It is because He was the ever one Principal in this beloved alma mater. Sir, my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all the help, the times you shared, and most especially the lessons learned that you imparted to me. I reached some of my dreams thru your help and inspirations. I appreciate everything. You have gone ahead from us but I believe it is more a rewarding place, a paradise where you are now. Rest in Peace my teacher,colleague,Principal, a friend, Hon. Oscar B. Bonghanoy Sr.
