First PlasmaPheresis of 2015 I am happy to report that I had my pheresis yesterday without incident!! Got to see my favorite peeps in the hospital...and made some new friends too!! I was visited by my favorite hemotologist on unit. =) The line went in smooth and easy, the super juice perked me up too. I was able to nap through it, and that is always a power booster. Have I ever mentioned how much I love and appreciate the doctors, nurses, and other top notch professionals at the DMC/Harper Hospital/Karmanos Cancer Center?? Yep!! I do. It is a wonderful, healing relationship of mutual respect and admiration. That is so very rare. I am so incredibly blessed. I had to go to Medical Records after my treatment. Why is it so FAR from everything else in the hospital? LoL I Should have got a ride, but I forgot. Rested before heading back across the hospital, and I must say I enjoyed the walk. I smile at everyone I see, and usually greet folks as I pass them. I am silly like that. Spread the smiles!! I live it babes! I enjoy it most when I am on stretcher. It really makes folks smile huge when you are cheerful in that position. LoL (My good friends would tease me about spreading the joy while flat on my back. I laugh and agree it is hilarious!!) I came home had some, um...the rest of the leftover cheesy potatoes...Yummo!!! My sweet husband rubbed my neck and shoulders a bit for me. A little dvr television, and I went to bed at 8pm. Woke up a jillion times to get rid of the added fluids in me...but got about 12 hours of sleep!!! I think I was TIRED. LoL Now I am enjoying my desk this morning. Some daytime television to keep me company while I catch up on months of paperwork. No hurry.....just fiddling around as I go. Have a beautiful day. Light a candle. Bake a pie. =D
