First, a big SHOUT OUT to the Class of 79. A great blessing seeing old friends. I love to counsel people who are searching for a solution to lifes trials. Not because I enjoy hearing what people are going through, but because God not only guides me to help others, He also uses those trials as a reminder for me to look in my own spiritual mirror. I have failed in my life more times than I dare consider, and still do. The one thing that keeps us all going is the Love God shows, time and again, through those who love beyond words. God uses them to lift us up when our spirit is burdened by the weight of this world. The blessing of that Spiritual Gift is not to hold on to selfishly, but to give away as an investment for more in return. Some feel a pastors only trial is deciding what to say from one Sunday to the next. I Praise God there are more trials than that to prove the critics wrong. I praise God for hearts that Love when worldliness shows its true nature. I Praise God for responding to all those times Hes heard me say ... You must You must think Im strong To give me what Im going through Well, forgive me Forgive me if Im wrong But this looks like more than I can do On my own Well, maybe Maybe thats the point To reach the point of giving up Cause when Im finally Finally at rock bottom Well, thats when I start looking up And reaching out Cause Im broken Down to nothing But Im still holding on to the one thing You are God and you are strong When I am weak I can do all things Through Christ who gives me strength And I dont have to be Strong enough Strong enough I know Im not strong enough to be Everything that Im supposed to be I give up Im not stong enough Hands of mercy wont you cover me Lord right now Im asking you to be Strong enough STRONG ENOUGH - Matthew West m.youtube/watch?v=knuHDPbE5es
