First and foremost, thank you for the prayers and sacrifices that all of you are making for my Father. Our hope is that it is strengthened your relationship with God and it has tremendously helped my Father and the family To see the generosity and compassion and people willing enough to stop and pray is too encounter the face and spirit of Christ work in this world. My Father is aware of your prayers and is strengthened by them, Yesterday he extended his hand out to me and stated, Let pray Currently he is still in ICU, however the bipap (cpap) mask is off. He still needs on occasion when tires.....even though vaccinated for, they believe he has a vey low grade pneumonia and urinary tract infection... Having a valve cardio issue and mild diabetic (past diagnosis), when events such as these go on, a lot is going on and tested and monitored ....He somewhat knows what is going on, is semi-talkative when awake and rested... . I have talked to my Father about the human value of suffering on many occasions and as Catholics we believe and follow the teaching of redemptive suffering. In other words without having a lesson, just have faith, that my Dad when he said lets pray he is offering his suffering to Jesus Christ, so that whatever afflictions, challenges, illness, despair, sadness, addictions and suffering you or your loved ones might have....that Jesus Christ will bring healing and peace.to the world. It will be a long journey, I am ever grateful for your prayers and sacrifices and may Gods will be done.
