First full day of honeymoon nearly over. Sophie has driven me so hard I can barely draw my breath and my legs are like jelly. Four hours of shopping followed by a 90 minute cat nap (in which she insisted in keeping her clothes on), followed by another two hours of shopping during which she bought a new coat (the boot hunt, it seems, was a sleight of hand). One good bit - Black Forest gateau. Although now that I think about it, she ate her sandwich and then scoffed half of my cake. How ironic that my state of physical exhaustion will be attributed to having overstretched myself with a younger nympho wife!
