First impressions from St. Petersburg: 1) city is much greener that what i had expected - istanbul seems even more like a concrete jungle compared to here! 2) it is almost midnight and the sun is still up - almost same latitude with Helsinki - really bright nights! 3) Russians are extreeeemely slow - or at least the ones we came across so far for getting service 4) the place we are staying at is offering two hour russian language workshops for fun! Apparently they have a different understanding of fun :) 5) lots of really nice architecture along with bulky & cold soviet buildings - interesting mix 6) seen people walking on streets with not so much clothes on - people want to show what their mamma gave them :))) More to come!
