First, let me pass my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, funs and the people of meru county for the demise of the one n only local entertainer KAMENCU KITHIA popularly known as MSETE . Im saddened by this heinous cold blood murder. Msete was one of the great heroes meru county has ever produced. With no formal education or affluent background, he rose from a soloist in the traditional meru circumcision ceremonies to a leading entertainer in meru county.he has shaken hands of various politico echelons both in meru and in the country as seen recently when he entertained the DP Ruto. He was an epitome of real hustle. Without pre-emptying the cause of his demise, I would like to say that if his death was politically instigated,then this will be a dull moment for meru county. Such cowardice acts are committed by dictators who believe that leadership is their birth right. However, to the great people of meru, this is indeed a victory. When everything is said n done, when the people of meru cast their votes to liberate themselves from the masterminds of retrogressive and corrupt regime, Musete will remain in the records of history as an hero who stood for the prosperity of meru county. Like they say, democracy is watered by blood. Like meru mps were saying in a press brief to condemn this act of cowardice, there is a need to worry about meru county. antu ba Meru tusitukeeni but stand firm for what we believe is right. finally, I urge the government to bring to book the murderer.like Bob Marley said there is a natural mistake moving through the air of meru county.many more will have to suffer, many more will have to die.dont ask me. however at the end of it all, people of meru county shall be free to vote n campaign for the candidates of their choice without fear or favour. may God rest Msetes soul in eternal peace.
