First let me start by saying how completely stressed out and antsy - TopicsExpress

First let me start by saying how completely stressed out and antsy this doggy Daddy is!! Moving on.... Has anyone that had a dog with SARDS, that also had a diagnosis of congestive heart failure(CHF)? I was kinda wondering if the two could somehow be related as Princess symptoms have kinda came on together and it seems as though her panting, fast shallow breathing, large tight skinned tummy & gaining weight(or fluid?), fatigue, and restlessness sometimes as shell move around a lot, like now I know in the past 15 minutes she has moved from beside me to her side and then her tummy, now back on her side. The vet is going to call me TODAY to discuss this. I was reading a lot of info on heart failure and from what I read just by listening with a stethoscope, checking gums, and an x-ray they can pretty much give a diagnosis of CHF. I ran across this about a dog who had SARDS and was thought to have passed from CHF because of the symptoms over time and when it passed, but it wasnt tested Im not sure why, but found it interesting. Here is the link petcarebooks/SARDS/UntreatedSARD.htm Thanks for all the support, Im so ready to talk to the vet!!!
