First match up of the quarterfinals saw 88 Gunners vs BPL the match got off to a late start but it was not short on excitement as it seems both teams were evenly matched as the match was very attacking and defensive both ways up to the interval the score was locked at nill all on the resumption it was more of the same good attacks on goal and like wise good defense at the end of regular time the dead lock was not broken so onto extra time and not even that could decide a winner it took the dreaded penalty shoot out once again to decide the third semifinalist first up was BPL and missed their first penalty 88 gunners scored their first two only to see the third kicker make a meal and missed is penalty that wud have seen them advance to the semis but it was not to be as BPL put away there sudden death penalty while 88 gunners missed so BPL advance to the semi finals where they will come up against Spranglaz
