First of all I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful messages congratulating us on the birth of our son. When they say that becoming a parent changes you, I dont think we were fully prepared for what that could mean. Miles did wonderful for about an hour after birth, then started having some breathing issues. Those issues turned out to be a lung infection and an open air pocket in his lungs. He has been in the RNICU since Friday night. We were discharged last night without being able to bring him home which was incredibly difficult. However the good news is that since Monday he has turned a corner and is doing much better. We finally got to hold him yesterday, and we are hoping to be able to feed him by tonight. He still has some fighting left to do but we know he is a strong boy. We are so lucky to be his parents. So, sorry for such a delay in posting pics...we were pretty much in NICU land for a bit, but here he is!!!!
