First of all I would like to thank my Sister for her support in my search for a kidney donor. She really has hit a home run as far as posting information about my condition... For those people who dont know, I have a disease called polysystic kidney disease. Or PKD. I am currently in stage 4 renal failure & have started the transplant process last week. I had no idea how many hoops I would have to jump thru to get receive a living donor kidney ! Im not much on this facebook thing but if you might be interested in being tested for blood match, I have the contact info for CMC transplant center below. I was told not to totally rely on the Hospital to find a donor.
