First off, if Varanasi wants to attract more tourists they must pull down the public urinals, disgusting and smelly and lacking dignity, clean the filthy streets, ban spitting in public just blobs of it everywhere and the big kind, ban all kinds of motor vehicles at least 50 metres from main tourist sites, ban motor peds, bicycles and rickshaws from any lane that is less than 5 metres wide, install traffic lights and more policemen, ban the horn OMG they love that darn thing, Its bloody ridiculous one is constantly ducking the traffic, (like fighting to stay alive) spitting, litter and cow dung as sacred as the cows are!! If they do this Tourists will be able to stop and buy more from the many vendors if they felt safe!! Maybe I could be their new town planner or how about Varanasi Fashion Week?? Ok off to the Ganges..
