First step is to notice hunger, then you need to make a decision based on the hunger while keeping in mind the wisdom gathered from previous experiences. Once you sit down to eat, the process of awareness still needs to continue with each bite. The goal is not to finish everything on the plate but to feel good after you are done eating. Done eating doesnt mean that there is no more food left. Only by paying attention and breathing deeply you will know when to stop. It takes time, it is a slow process, and it takes commitment to listen to your body. You can do it! You must do it because your relationship with your body is the only life-long relationship you will ever have!
