First, thank you to everyone that sent prayers and encouraging words for me to face my eye check today. Secondly, everything is fine and all seven stitches were still in place. Thirdly, I am embarrassed that I went into panic mode. My eye lid had swollen a bit. That was the first swelling that had occurred so it took me by surprise. The doctor told me to continue my post op care, go home, relax, and try not to worry so much. (Hmmmm...he doesnt know me!). I apologized for taking his time. He replied thats what we are here for and its better to be safe than sorry. We dont want an eye infection now. I love my family and friends and the staff at Great Lakes Eye Institute.
