First, unless you completly live off the grid, use only cash and grow most of your own food, your info is out there. Second, anything new can be scarry and choosing not to use it until the bugs are worked out is probably wise. Ive been on FB Messenger since the day my phone forced me to add the app or stop messaging and I havent had a single issue. All my money (what little there is) is still in my bank. Any conversations or photos that have been recorded are going to be very boring to the recipient. And if someone is tarcking me on gps theyll know where I live, work and take my kids to daycare, all public record anyway. People will always say bad stuff when new technology comes out, some people will avoid cause thats easiest, others will educate themselves and make informed decisions (see article below) and people like me will keep following trustingly cause if something bad is gonna happen it will find a way, regardless of how I chat online.
