Im in awe here in Rome...everywhere my eye lands is beauty, my mouth tastes deliciousness, and I can almost hear the stones singing. I touch the stones of the ancient columns and Im transported across eons. Feeling opposites-its been so beautiful...feeling connectionto those who have been here before in the same steps and spaces and exploring the city and its delights with Daniel. And also, Im feeling so much for the people of the world- Gaza and beyond. At the colisseum- as magnificent and amazing as it is- I was surprised to really feel the huge weight of the violence to the humans and animals that occurred there, as the crowds cheered. It made me feel how we humans have engaged in such fighting for so long. Its hard to fathom, and I only ask for the wisdom and the courage to stand for peace and help in whatever ways I can. Motivated. Amazed. Grateful.
