First visit to The Eight Bells since I started the blog, though I used to visit quite often. Happy to report that the Sunday lunch is every bit as enjoyable as I remember. Slow roasted Dingley Dell Pork with a huge selection of vegetables, all crowned by a huge Yorkshire pudding. To finish I had the rather unusual, but very tasty Toffee Apple Sponge served with Ginger Custard & Granny Smith Sorbet, whilst my friend had the Summer Berry Eton Mess, not very pretty but apparently delicious (£19.50 for 2 courses). Off for a nap now!
