Firstly, we would like to extend a very Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you. We hope and pray that this season was meaningful and a joyous time for you all. We were able to spend part of the holidays in Bujumbura and had a wonderful Christmas candlelight service on Christmas eve. It was good to be in a western church and to meet more international families. Through it all, we give praise and glory to the One we celebrate this season, Jesus. There are some significant changes coming to the Balengas in the next couple of weeks. For safety concerns, Darla and the kids will be returning to Canada for the present time. Charles will stay and continue the mission in Burundi until June. We have enjoyed our time in Burundi and we are looking forward to what God will have for our family in the future.
