Fit Tip Thursday One big thing i work on with my clients is the tempo of their lift A lot of people come in with bad and fast lifting habits which means the muscles are under very little or no strain at all For muscles to grow we need to create micro tears in them in the gym and this happens by keeping the muscles under tension I always look for beginners to be at least using a 2 second up 2 second down tempo. This will vary on client goals but try it in your next workout to drop the weight slightly and go slower Dont let your ego stop you getting the results you want tauruspt.co.uk @tauruspt1
