Fit Tip of The Day: Avoid listening to loud music while training. People will often turn up the volume on their ipods while training to escape more into the music to help reduce the pain from lifting. But you want to feel the pain that is what causes the change. Making exercise easier is a waste of time. People will do the strangest things to avoid concentrating on the actual feeling and stimulation of the exercise. Listen to music but on a low volume. It is hard to concentrate when the music is blaring. The brain will shift its focus to whatever stimulus is most controlling.
