Fit tip of the day: Spot fat reduction Everyone has that one spot on their body they want to trim down. Some people want to lose the beer gut, some the thunder thighs and others it might be old lady arms. The bad news is that there really isnt any way to target the fat in a specific area. You have to just burn fat in general and slim it all down. The good news is that there are things to do to make the area look better in the mean time while you are burning the fat. Adding weight training for that particular body part will help in a number of weighs. First off, as you build more muscle that will help your body burn more calories even when you arent working out. It will also tighten up loose muscle. This can give you the appearance of slimming down when the actual fat loss has not yet accumulated to much. Lastly, by working those muscles you will help prevent having flabbiness left behind after the weight/fat has been lost. If you are worried about bulking up, simply use lighter weights and do more repetitions. This will tone the area and not bulk you up. So go hit it friends and have the body that YOU want!
