Fitting cycle paths in Bucharest, approved by the General Council The General Council of Bucharest approved in the meeting held on Thursday, September 4th, 2014, the project for implementing the bike transport system in the central area of Bucharest. Through this project, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change finances with approx. 10 mil. EUR the fitting of 97 km of bike paths on 60 streets in the central area, but also intermodal points that will ensure the connection between bikes and public transport vehicles.
