Five Muslims have been killed in sectarian clashes in western Myanmar, according to a new police toll released on Wednesday, after hundreds of Buddhists went on a rampage. "The death toll rose to five; four men and a woman," a local police officer said, adding that the deaths happened on Tuesday in Thabyuchaing in Rakhine state. A Muslim village official gave the same death toll. There have been renewed tensions between ethnic Rakhine Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims. Last year, Buddhists killed at least 192 people and left 140,000 homeless, mostly Rohingya. Source: Hindustan Times
