Flash Animator- Social Team High 5 Games - New York, NY (Nueva York y alrededores, Estados Unidos) Descripción del empleo High 5 Games is seeking a talented Flash Animator to join the Social Development team at our Chelsea, NYC office. Candidates should have experience creating beautiful animations (as well as special effects for objects and characters) in a way that is optimized for use on the web. This implies that animations must be carefully planned in order to minimize file size and maximize quality and performance on a wide variety of browsers and systems. This position requires a candidate with mastery of animation techniques, a wide variety of methods to accomplish them within Flash, and the wisdom to know when to use them. This position also requires experience in motion graphics and character animation within a Flash environment specializing in content created for the web. Experience with AS3 and the ability to animate programmatically using tweens are required. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and 3D software is a plus. Strong knowledge of Flash production best practices, including: raster and vector assets, symbols, scalability, file-size, and compression, among others. Solid understanding of working with Flash assets (i.e. movie clips, graphics, buttons, etc.). Solid understanding of Flash animation aspects (i.e. timeline, symbols, labels, properties, tweening, display properties, looping and stopping, etc.). Solid understanding of renaming and organizing symbols, scenes, labels, links, instance names, SWFs and FLAs. Organized and efficient use of layers, movie clips, library and shared objects. Extensive experience with motion graphics and character animation. Strong sense of motion and timing. Ability to convert designs and illustrations into Flash production-quality art assets. Proficiency creating and working with vector and bitmap assets for animations. Experience in user interface, website development AND/OR experience with rich media ad development. Strong sense of composition, color, and typography. Knowledge of programming in AS3 and the use of tweening functions.
