Flavia has headed home with Mum Bronwyn this morning after being - TopicsExpress

Flavia has headed home with Mum Bronwyn this morning after being treated at our clinic for the past few days. She had her blood taken this morning and we hope beyond HOPE that her red blood cell count is higher than it was at 15. :( We will know tomorrow. Meanwhile the fly snapping is not happening continually, just sometimes, and the growling snapping thing is intermittent and she soon calms. We are calling it her little brain fade :) hopefully things will improve as days go by. Flavia has gone home with more medications, the two types of antibiotics and pain relief. She has special recovery food, a new bed, a new soft pink jacket and we couldnt get a collar small enough for her, so Mum Bron is going to buy her one tomorrow with her name tag. Her blood results are due back tomorrow and we hope that she will settle more in the home environment. Only time will tell if we have it right, and she is on track. Here she is this morning, very bright and chipper. The bandage around her neck is from the blood test site - just taking a precaution as her blood is so thin. Abit like a very nice scarf - sort of. :) She is thin, and still unsure, but today for the first time I saw her engaged. She actually wagged her sad beaten thin scabby little tail. She cocks her head on the side and listens. She sits quietly in your arms, and only fly snaps a little. I would like to thank Jarrett, Priscilla, Krystal, Charmaine and Sophie at the clinic who have really worked their tails off for our two special needs. With a smile and no sadness they are truly a great team of people. Please light a candle for her (and for divine Ollie) we really need some kind prayers this week at RWL. Thank you everyone - heres our girl, isnt she a delight?
