Flea season is upon us! Ive notice a big increase so I wanted to give some tips! Watch your pet. Notice him scratching? Check the warm areas around the ears and between the legs and bum. Thats where they like to hide. Also make sure your dog/cat is on a regular flea program. We use trifelxious protects from fleas and worms and is a oral pill you get from the vet so no harsh smell and no worry of your kiddos touching the pet after a treatment. Make sure you are buying your flea treatment from the vet. Yes its more expensive but thats because it works. Flea products you buy at Walmart and pet stores dont work at all, trust me. Flea collars also just send the fleas to the rear end of the pet and should never be used on cats. Any dog or cat that goes outside or is around another pet that has been outside is at risk. Please take precaution and prevent it, it can get out of control fast.
