Flight with Denzel Washington was a heart clenching and soul warming experience about an ageing African-American pilot who against all odds triumphs. After spending 6-7 scenes bum puffing cigarettes every 3 seconds he finally sits down and racks up some lines of coke with John Goodman and then finally inhales his cigarette. I nearly teared up at this moment and I really think it highlighted his growth as both an actor and a human being.
