Flooded Friday Food For Thought ;) :) We are aware of many individuals who got into philosophy because of Dawkins. But it would be unfortunate if many would already have rigid views of philosophy due to him deGrasse Tyson, or Hawking. It is true that there were philosophers who are largely ignorant of the advancements of science (having implications to philosophical issues), and there still are those who would wish to stay ignorant. But the same could be said of some of their comments about philosophy or their attempts at philosophy. .... Richard Dawkins has succumbed to the delusion that he’s infallible on any topic he chooses to address, and in so doing, has wandered off the edge and plummeted into belligerent crankery.
