Floods could be caused by various reasons from Global Warming or Odd cloud and climate patterns. The damage could be compounded by deforestation, mistreatment of rivers or irregular urbanization. During Babu’s rule the forest cover improved. Reaction to a flood is a humanitarian issue. A politician is first a human with a small advantage to serve. Emotion is a feeling and an expression. For some sick and limited politicians it looks like a tool. Humans are not numbers. An insect that lives for one summer does not know about the cold. The damage of the flood affected a few thousand families. More damaging than the mud of Mother Nature is the mud of distrust of lower understanding within the brains of some rulers. Let not the brains and hearts of rulers be flooded with suspicion. While flood waters always travel to the lowest points it is only leaders like Babu who travel to the higher ground through their expression of concern. The underlying power of service is just an example of service that will come.
