JOB-778201 Description Read and understand floor plans, measurements, installation Work Orders. Assess various job sites, assessing floor preparation, planning and check Neatly installing smooth-edge carpet gripper to floors and to all perimeters of rooms, install underlay and taping or stapling of underlay joins. Cutting and shaping vinyl / carpet to approximate room sizes in accordance with plans and carefully placing in rooms in readiness for installation. Heat Bond joining of carpet seams and joins, stretching of carpet to all rooms ensuring it is taut in all directions. (knee kicker and Power stretchers used). Neatly trimming and tucking carpet into smooth edge gripper to all perimeters. Fitting of various door bars and trims as required. General communication with various including: clients, project managers, supervisors. Skills Requirements Requirements Candidate must have the following: Minimum of 5 years experience in floor laying (vinyl and carpet). Prior experience training apprentices or managing a project will be very advantageous. Must have full clean driving licence - B. Salary: €20.00ph - €25.00ph Other Benefits: Salary in NZ Dollars.
