Florence B. Hahn, 96, of Thornville, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born on October 21, 1917 in Adamsville, daughter of the late Ralph and Susie (Smith) Williams. Mrs. Hahn was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Thornville. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Levine Clothing Store and very active in the Perry County Home Extension group. She was always doing sewing projects and quilting and loved flower gardening and travelling. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Kathaleen (Charles) Holman; Sons Delmar (Dorothy) and Weldon (Connie) Krebs; five grandchildren: Denise (Doug) Claxton, David (Jill) Krebs, Michelle (Ed) Chavanne, Erin (Rusty) Davis, and Jeanette (Brad) Riffle; three step grandchildren: Cheryl Holman, Beth (Pat) Cooperrider, and Scott (Kristi) Holman; six great-grandchildren: Amanda Raney, Ashley Claxton, Daisy Krebs, Drew Krebs, Audrey Davis, and Katelyn Riffle; and five step great-grandchildren: Lindsay Cooperrider, Tanner Cooperrider, Sadie Holman, Kylie Holman, and Dario Cristina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Hahn on January 1, 1990 and her brother, Richard Williams. A funeral service, celebrating Mrs. Hahn’s life, will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity United Church of Christ, 20 West South St., Thornville, with Rev. Tom Olsen and Rev. Dave Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.
