Florida is NO Longer Friendly to ‘Out of Towner’s’ in the HOT Months where quick-tempers and your wrong words in the Heat of the moment! Will get you Killed!! Where the NEW Law of the land in Florida is “ Shoot FIRST!! then Think-about ? running away SECOND!! Simply because an ‘Out of Towner’ won’t concede in a VERBAL exchange of COMMON EVERYDAY words!! It’s totally sad!! When a citizen of Florida Now Can play God! Jury! and Executioner!! on a Tourist/Visitor where the AGRESSOR can NOW Violate and Disregard any ORDERS given by a Police officer!! Then WITHOUT any ACTUAL First-Hand KNOWLEDGE!!! that the Visitor/Tourist has committed any Florida crime! Can NOW simply A ledge that the Tourist/Visitor Threatened me! So I shot him!! being they were UNARMED!! and I was in fear of being punched! So Now it’s my self-defense story, against that of a dead ‘Not My Kind’ Visitor/Tourist, who brought Fists to a GUN FIGHT . I’m just saying an ALL White Female jury with one TOKEN minority! Forced to be away from FAMILY and Friends until they could come to a verdict!! SURELY wasn’t the BEST way to Go!! Its Bad enough there were only six in stead of TWELVE!! But I guess that is part of Florida State Law . Acquittal on ALL charges was also a miscarriage of Justice!! What ever happened to GUILTY of Failing to Obey a Lawful ORDER NOT to Follow the individual, at least ?!? What happened to Zimmerman’s Mind-Set!! that “They ALWAYS Get Away!!” ?!? What happened to Zimmerman Actually leaving the Safety of his car!! to Follow someone HALF HIS WEIGHT that he was so AFRAID of!! Down streets that he Should have KNOWN!! The names of as a Neighborhood watchman ?!? Whatever happened to the DEEP BACKGROUND Check of the Defendant Zimmerman Not being Relevant ?!? but the unfortunate Dead victim’s being MORE valid ?!? What ever happened to ALL the procedural violations afforded to a person whose family, Father, Uncle, and others; Are in Law Enforcement . what ever happened to the generally understood notion that with gun ownership comes a Greater level of Responsibility?!? What ever happened to the understanding that ‘Stand your Ground’ REQUIRES you to flee to Safety First!! and Standing your Ground is your VERY, VERY LAST option?!? I pray that the REALITY of KARMA Doesn’t visit the family’s of the jury!! so they actually Learn the Importance of their decision within the Circle of Life . SEVENTEEN is Too young to Die over INTOLLERANCE!!! of People who Don’t Look like you!! and/or can defend themselves Better Physically or Verbally Better than you can . but that’s just my singular opinion . Traveling in Florida!! and the other Nineteen States where “Stand Your Ground” IS THE LAW OF THE LAND .
