Flory is the best friend of the narrator. She comes home for the anniversary of her parents and invites the narrator to the celebration. Flory had helped the narrator to learn how to see the world when they were teens, and had introduced her to photography, swimming, and traveling. This story is about the two friends and how Flory touched the narrators life and became her best friend. Here is a quote from this story: God allows us to meet many people, establish acquaintances and filter further for friendships. Along my lifes journey I have written my own list of extraordinary people of whom I am so proud to say are my friends but the one person who taught me how to be a friend is definitely Laarni. She may be a dream but for me she is as real as a best friend could be.
