Fly Fishing Class with Bob Clouser July 25 and 26 Bob with a Traverse Bay Smallmouth Bass Join us Friday July 25, and Saturday July 26 for a special opportunity to learn from one of the masters of fly fishing. Bob Clouser, creator of the famed Clouser Minnow fly pattern. The Clouser Minnow fly pattern is known world-wide and has caught more varieties of fish than any other fly. He has also designed a great series of fly rods with Temple Fork Outfitters and has been instrumental in promoting fly fishing throughout the country. In addition to being a world class rod designer, fly tyer and innovator, Bob is a great fly casting instructor. You will learn casting techniques that can be applied to both fresh and saltwater. How to cast a weighted fly and gain great line control, distance and accuracy. Bob will review your casting skill and give you methods to practice in order to improve your casting. Throughout the years, Bob has developed some unique teaching techniques and is one of the most skillful, entertaining and patient teachers you have ever experienced. Whether you are a beginner or expert, this is a great clinic and anglers of all skill levels are welcome. On Friday the class will be held both indoors and outdoors with a fly tying and slideshow and fly casting techniques and hands on learning. Saturday will focus on the water fly casting and fishing techniques. Linda Heller and shop guide staff will assist with the class as well. Lunches are provided and this is a great time to really hone your fishing skills and gain a better understanding of your fly casting.
