Flying a UAV does carry certain responsibilities. There are regulations laid down by the CAA, an airfield in close proximity and other people to bear in mind whilst flying. Scy Tv takes these responsibilities seriously and not only has insurance, but has a series of self imposed rules to stay within the law and prevent causing upset to others. If ever you are concerned about a flight you have seen, please come and see me. I am more than happy to talk about the circumstances and, if it is one of my flights it would be a conversation I can learn from for the future. There are other UAV flyers across the islands and I have seen visitors bring their own machines with them. It is a fast growing hobby across the country and something I am passionate about. The views and scenery of the islands take on a unique perspective from a small height and publicity like this has got to be good for the islands. I am open to criticism, ideas or even small projects so please, if you would like to talk about my flying, the good, the bad or the interesting, I would love to hear from you.
