Foaling news Part II The great news is that Parkridge Welcome is very close to foaling. She is looking good with a huge bag etc. Very exciting. The really bad news for us is that Lily (Sable Hit SW) seems to have slipped her foal some time ago. She looks in foal and even tricked our vet a few days ago, but her lack of udder and other signs worried us. We asked the vet to palpate her yesterday and she seems to be empty. We are sad, but these things happen when you breed. She and our other brood mare Donner Summer SW (Don Frederico) are off to the breeding center to be inseminated next week. Lets hope for two pregnancies!
