Folks, I had to walk away from Shrieker 2... the film is officially scrapped. It was a decision based mostly on logistics. Ultimately, I had to choose between completing Shrieker (which had experienced multiple delays due to issues beyond my control) or doing the best job I can with Christmas Carol. Yes, there were additional issues that lead to my choosing to part ways with the film, but this is certainly not the forum to air those. Suffice it to say that I am proud to have made the right decision - in a very difficult scenario - to step away from an opportunity with my artistic integrity intact. Im sticking to my guns: Ive said all I can say in the horror genre for now, and am so excited to focus on the next leg of my career as an artist. I wish Full Moon all the very best, and remain a fan of their classic output... For the fans, Im sure a new Shrieker film will eventually still see the light of day - but it wont be a film by Anthony D.P. Mann.
