Folks Like Being Deceived. The VAST majority of people would much rather hear lies from false prophets than endure the TRUTH. Ezekiel chapter 13 illustrates how false prophet tell folks what they want to hear. The false prophets proclaim peace and security when there is none. God judges not only the false prophets, but the people who decide to believe them! The flimsy white-washed wall they built to withstand tribulation is destroyed so the people will know He is the Lord. I look around America today and I see false prophets everywhere. The false prophets promote peace and security and faith in the white-washed-wall system. They enrich themselves by pandering to the outrage of our citizens and offering them comfort. But they never utter a word about repentance or fortify the peoples hearts for the hardships that purchase spiritual and physical freedom. Spiritual, economic, and civic, defenses are not easily built and they dont happen without sacrifice. Real defenses require toil, investment, dedication, and endurance. The easy-believe-ism without sacrifice being taught from our churches pulpits and spouted from our radio talk-shows, simply pacifies the unrest until the storm crashes around us. God will judge the false prophets, but also those who took the easy path and decided to go along with them. We truly deserve everything that comes after.
