Folks who know about urban planning info, a question: does anyone keep track of what percentage of municipal workers (cops, fire fighters, teachers, trash collectors, doctors, nurses, city hall workers, support staff for all of those) live within the boundaries of their city? In other words if a city had a total city staff of 10,000 and 7,500 of them lived in the city, then that city would have a 75% occupancy/rating/whatever. The reason I ask this is that I would argue that a city with a well-managed urban policy has a higher percentage than a city with a lower percentage.
