Follower of Christ the way you respond to tough times in your life is a sermon that ministers to people more than the most eloquent speaker. As believers in Jesus Christ, we can trust our Savior and turn to Him in hard times. God cares for us and He is sovereign. His Holy Word is sure and His promises are true. Take some time to ease your worries and calm your fears by meditating on these Bible verses for troubled times. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 34:7-9 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing. Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? We are never nearer to God than when we are troubled. In times of comfort and ease it is easy to forget GOD. In the worst of times, we suddenly remember, Ah, what if I asked God for help? Sometimes the answer is being rescued from the trouble and the help we pray for arrives. Sometimes the answer is Lean on me, because you will have to pass through this storm. But one thing is for sure, God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12 And personally speaking, to me the eternal crown of life is more important than temporary relief from troubles times :) REJOICE KNOWING GOD will never leave His children alone in the midst of trouble; with perseverance we will overcome. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12
