Following a terror attack in Jerusalem yesterday I feel that I - TopicsExpress

Following a terror attack in Jerusalem yesterday I feel that I need to open up everyones eyes to the incredibly biased (and frequently lying) media that exists in the world. And Im not talking about Arab or third-world media but rather respectable international western media. A classic example of this is CNN, the large international media outlet who through the years has proven to be one of the most anti-Israel media outlets. For those who are not updated, yesterday around 6 in the evening an Arab drove his car into a crowd of people who were standing at a station waiting for the arrival of the light rail (Jerusalems above the ground railroad). Several people were injured and a 3 month old infant was killed (the car drove right into the carriage). This is a picture of the event that was captured on camera (dont worry, nothing grisly) - youtube/watch?v=Nin4gYwFEio The driver of the car tried to flee on foot but was shot and killed by a policeman. It turned out that the driver was known to the Israeli security establishment, having spent some time in Israeli jail for other nationalistic related crimes (he was also linked to Hamas). Just to fill in some details. The police/security establishment in Israel are very cautious to declare something a terrorist attack (unless its 100% obvious). They always hold off because of sensitivity to its Arab citizens. The same was the case yesterday. When the news first broke they said they werent sure if it was a terrorist attack or just an accident. However, following an investigation, which included the identity of the driver and his background and link to Hamas, as well as the pretty obvious video, w/in a few hours of the incident they officially declared it a terrorist attack. Thats all the background for the headline that I saw on the home page of CNN International this morning (edition.cnn/), which simply stated Baby killed in Jerusalem hit and run. As everyone knows, a hit and run is when someone flees the scene following an accident (where a pedestrian has been injured). However, a hit and run is not when someone, for nationalistic reasons, intentionally drives his car into a crowd w/the intention of killing as many as possible. Of course for those of us who live in Israel (or follow news in Israel on a regular basis), this is not a surprise since CNN (and frequently the New York Times) have been distorting the news for years. Just thought to let everyone know since unfortunately much of what you hear about Israel is either totally distorted or simply not true.
