Following industry demands, we have launched our latest double majors programme: BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences with Food Science and Technology Major This is a prestigious new programme combining the Biological Sciences (Honours) with Food Science and Technology as a 2nd Major, in partnership with the Wageningen University (The Netherlands) and two other Schools in NTU: School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) and School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). For students enrolled in this programme, in addition to the Biological Sciences courses, they will read 5 compulsory courses specific to this Major, which will be taught by professors from Wageningen University. Furthermore, students will read prescribed electives of their choices from SBS, SCBE and SPMS. The interdisciplinary nature of the programme will benefit students who are interested in Biology and further wish to gain understanding about food processes with an engineering and industrial point of view, through the expertise of our Wageningen University partners.
