Following on from yesterdays grumpy post. Here is what I MIGHT have written today if BA hadnt been so rude and computer-says-no about the delay: Awesome. Our BA flight to NYC was delayed by 2.5hours because of a broken plane (meaning we arrived after midnight). BA were super nice and said we could chill in their lounge even though I’m currently only Bronze level. Glass of wine, nuts and got my work finished. Flight was half empty anyone so don’t think they lost too much on the wine and nuts. It’s little stuff like this that makes a difference. Just booked next month’s business class flight to Johannesburg which cost £x,000 (eek… made me wince!)… still, more free nuts should ease the pain!” The SA flight bit is true by the way, but Im now flying South African Airways.
