Following the repetitive posts of a certain individual, here is my recommendation to all LDS members; brothers and sisters: Come on! Read this carefully : Peace I (Jesus, ed.) leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Please do not argue over spite and angers that come from anti-LDS and other detractors. Manuel Rodriguez is neither a member, nor ex-member, and he has made his intention clear; there is no need to add anything else now to what he (or any future ones like him) writes on this wall. These people are entitled to their opinions, however wrong or contrary to the teachings and the Gospel of Jesus Christ they may be. These conversations are not uplifting, do not strengthen anyone and raise contention and discord. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient, (2 Tim. 2:24) Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather [suffer yourselves to] be defrauded? (1 Cor. 6:7) All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Tim. 3:16) Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. (Rom. 14:19) As children of our Heavenly Father, who entered in the ever lasting Covenant, yes even as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we need to stand up of course! However let us stand as disciples of Christ, not as quarrellers; For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me [...] Behold, this is not my doctrine, to stir up the hearts of men with anger, one against another; but this is my doctrine, that such things should be done away. (3 Ne. 11:29-30)
