Food for the Soul Psalm 55:18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me. God is so good. Not only has He delivered my soul, but he protects me from physical harm as well. Last Friday I had chest tightness, and pain twice in one day. First around 3 pm, then around 8 pm. Tina, the kids and I were on our way home and it came back. We had to switch seats and Tina drove home. When we were almost home it got worst and we went to the hospital. I really believed I was having a heart attack. It does not appear that I was. Not sure at this time what it was but God is good. No matter what He has delivered my soul. Heaven is my home. Jesus took my sin not in part but the whole and nailed it to the cross. It is well with my soul. When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. It is well, it is well with my soul. My sin -- O the joy of this glorious thought -- My sin, not in part, but the whole, Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more: Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul. It is well, It is well with my soul. And, Lord haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as scroll: the trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend, even so - it is well with my soul.
