Food for thought: Watching ‘Through the Wormhole’ season two, episode one. The question is asked if there is life after death. The following premise is evaluated scientifically: “The body is just a vessel for the soul. The soul is eternal.” As I listen to the interview with Eben Alexander, the neurosurgeon who describes his near death experience, I have to say, the description of his experiences are part of my every day reality. As a meditation and guided imagery teacher with more than 30 years of meditation practice I am able to get into these elevated states of consciousness on a daily basis.
