Fools for Christ MEMORY VERSE: We are fools for Christs sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honorable, but we are despised (1 Corinthians 4:10). Paul had been a man of position before his conversion to Christ. Now, as a servant of the Lord, he often suffered because of his faith. Wava Campbell has enlarged upon this message in her poem: THE WALK WITH GOD The walk with God is a lonely walk, For few believers care To tread the rough and rugged path Of service, love, and prayer. And few will leave their pleasures, And the silly toys of earth To seek the things that matter most, That have eternal worth. The walk with God is a lonely walk, For then, and then alone, Will others judge your motives And claim you seek your own. The walk with God is a lonely walk, But fellowship is sweet, And only on that lonesome road Is rest and joy complete. The world may choose to shun me, And think of me as odd, But I will walk that lonesome road In fellowship with God
